Senior Instructor and Visionary

Bern has been in martial arts and fitness for over 45 years. He’s coached numerous national, European and world champions and many black belts. He has trained in multiple disciplines – Kung fu, Kickboxing, Thai boxing, Eskrima, Tae kwon do, Sambo, San Sou, Boxing, JKD 
 

Bern has a wealth of experience as a trainer, working in both the private and public sector He will discuss with you what you want to achieve, and then work out a set of goals. Bern has an ability to find out what makes you tick, and then motivate you to realise your potential, setting you achievable challenges along the way.

Whatever your age or fitness level, Bern will work to your ability, planning and structuring your progress.
 

Small steps lead to big results. Bern understands that for martial arts / fitness to be an integral part of your life, your training must be enjoyable and fun.

Meet Luke Harvey

Instructor

Luke is an old head with young shoulders. Luke started training from the age of 4 and gained his black belt with Bern and TMAS at the age of 11.

Due to ill health, Luke had to give up training till he was 17. Once he had recovered, Luke returned to his lifelong past time and for the last 4 years he has dedicated himself to being a martial arts and fitness coach as well as a black belt. Luke is level 3 PT, he is also qualified as a sport massage therapist  Luke aim is to run his own martial arts/ fitness centres as well as head the ninja academy.

 

Luke philosophy is based around adults and childrens development in martial arts and fitness, encouraging people from all walks of life, levels of fitness and those recovering from illness to get involved in sport. He believes that regular martial arts and fitness sessions not only help with feeling great and weight maintenance but also support good mental health, strengthen self-discipline and provide great opportunities to meet new people. In his personal life, Luke enjoys spending time with the family German Shepherd Ares, foreign language films, and playing on his PS5. He also supports his mum in her daily life.

Meet Jack Mcgrath

Instructor

The baby-faced assassin!  more strings to his bow than most, forever learning, forever teaching.

 

His looks are deceiving

Jack started training from the age of 4 in Kickboxing and later in boxing.

 

He has competed in many competitions and bouts throughout the years. His ambition is to become a world champion. 

 

He is currently studying for his Level 3 PT coach at the Robbie fowler training academy. He is one of the main coaches at The Marital arts studio in Liverpool.

​

Not only does Jack want to be a professional fighter, he wants to head Ninja Academy UK as a head coach.
